Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Dance

For students attending classes at Northland Pioneer College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The University of Arizona 1995-97 General Catalog or contact the assistant dean for the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information.

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

Equivalent courses are not available at Northland Pioneer College. Students should complete requirements in the general education skills and proficiencies, and study areas to best prepare for transfer and progress toward this degree.

A minimum of 42 units of dance courses must be completed in residence at The University of Arizona for this major. Dance majors must audition for placement in dance technique courses.
