Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Veterinary Science
For students attending classes at Pima Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. The College of Agriculture offers the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majors in agricultural and resource economics, agricultural education, agricultural technology management, microbiology, biochemistry, animal science (business and race track management, production and science), nutritional science, plant sciences, soil and water science, veterinary science and the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Please note: A transfer guide may list more than 72 units of course work. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. Consult your advisor regarding course selection.

PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE HDE 105, "TRANSFER STRATEGIES!" This course offers UA campus visits; meetings with UA staff members who represent the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, The Center for Transfer Students and other University resources; and consultation for evaluating transfer timing. While this course is nontransferable, it does contribute to the grade point average for admission to the University. See a P.C.C. counselor/advisor about enrolling in HDE 105.
