Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Resources with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences Education
For students attending classes at Pima Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. The School of Family and Consumer Resources offers undergraduate majors in family studies, family and consumer sciences education and retailing and consumer studies. Refer to The University of Arizona 1995-97 General Catalog or contact the School of Family and Consumer Resources (621-1075) for additional information.
Please note: A transfer guide may list more than 72 units of course work. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. Consult your advisor regarding course selection.

PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE HDE 105, "TRANSFER STRATEGIES!" This course offers UA campus visits; meetings with UA staff members who represent the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, The Center for Transfer Students and other University resources; and consultation for evaluating transfer timing. While this course is nontransferable, it does contribute to the grade point average for admission to the University. See a P.C.C. counselor/advisor about enrolling in HDE 105.
