Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences
For students attending classes at Arizona Western College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

Eight units of laboratory science courses are required in addition to the biology courses listed above. Refer to the biological and physical sciences study area for a listing of options.

This requirement may be fulfilled by completing the mathematics course work listed under the major requirements.SECOND LANGUAGE--16 units
This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the fourth semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The University of Arizona On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Course work available at Arizona Western College includes the following:
