Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Fine Arts Studies
For students attending classes at Cochise College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. A candidate for this degree also must complete a minimum of 24 units of fine arts course work in each of three departments selected from the College of Fine Arts: Art, Dance, Media Arts*, Music and Theatre Arts.
With advisor approval, an area outside of Fine Arts may be used for a maximum of 24 units. At least 36 units must be upper-division courses. A minimum of 24 units must be taken in residence.
* Students must meet Media Arts advanced standing requirement.
