Bachelor of Arts with a major in Geography

For students attending classes at Eastern Arizona College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The University of Arizona On-line Catalog or contact the Office of Academic Services (621-3336) for additional information.

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

Equivalent courses are not available at Eastern Arizona College for the major in Geography. Students should complete requirements in the general education skills and proficiencies, and study areas to best prepare for transfer and progress toward this degree.

College algebra is the minimum mathematics requirement. One of the following higher level mathematics courses may be substituted:

This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the fourth semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The University of Arizona On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated.
