Bachelor of Arts with a major in Latin
For students attending classes at the Maricopa County Community Colleges and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. College algebra is the minimum mathematics requirement. One of the following higher level mathematics courses may be substituted:
- MAT 172, 182, 187, 212, 220, 221, 225, 227, 230, 231, 241
SECOND LANGUAGE--16 units
This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the fourth semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The University of Arizona On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. This requirement may be met by completing the language course work listed under major requirements.
