Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Microbiology
For students attending classes at Diné College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. The College of Agriculture offers the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with majors in agricultural and resource economics, agricultural education, general agriculture, animal science (business and race track management, production and science), nutritional science, plant sciences, soil and water science, microbiology, biochemistry, veterinary science and environmental science. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. Select course work from five of the
six study areas listed below. In order to meet general education
requirements, students must include BIOLOGICAL AND LIFE SCIENCES and
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES among the five study areas
selected. When specific courses are identified by major within a
study area, those courses are required to meet study area and
major requirements. A minimum of 32 units is required in the five
study areas selected.
