Bachelor of Arts with a major in Biochemistry

For students attending classes at Diné College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. GENERAL EDUCATION SKILLS AND PROFICIENCIES

ENGLISH--6 units

MATHEMATICS--3 units
This requirement may be fulfilled by completing the mathematics course work listed under the major requirements.

SECOND LANGUAGE--16 units
This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the fourth semester level. Refer to
Examination Policies in The University of Arizona On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Completion of one of the following options at Diné College will fulfill this requirement.

TRADITIONS AND CULTURES--9 units from List 1 and List 2
