College of Engineering and Mines

For students attending classes at Pima Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. Refer to The University of Arizona On-line Catalog or contact the Dean’s Office in the College of Engineering and Mines (621-6032) for additional information.

Students must be granted advanced standing to enroll in 300- or 400- level courses in the College of Engineering and Mines. In some cases additional courses at the UA will be required prior to receiving advance standing. Refer to the College of Engineering and Mines in the The University of Arizona On-line Catalog for more information about the college and curriculum.

The above courses are recommended and satisfy one of two required sequences of Humanities and Social Science. Contact the College of Engineering and Mines (621-6032) if you would like to receive a complete listing of the Humanities and Social Science requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE HDE 105, "TRANSFER STRATEGIES!" This course offers UA campus visits; meetings with UA staff members who represent the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, The Center for Transfer Students and other University resources; and consultation for evaluating transfer timing. This course transfers to the UA as elective credit. See a P.C.C. counselor/advisor about enrolling in HDE 105.
