Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Musical Theatre
For students attending classes at Pima Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. Refer to The University of Arizona On-line Catalog or contact the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information.
Please note: A transfer guide may list more than 72 units of course work. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. Consult your advisor regarding course selection.
MAJOR REQUIREMENTS
Musical theatre majors must complete a minimum of eight units of course work in private voice instruction; in addition, course work in conducted ensembles/musical production and dance are required. An audition on campus is required, the student must consult with the department for times and place.

PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE HDE 105, "TRANSFER STRATEGIES!" This course offers UA campus visits; meetings with UA staff members who represent the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, The Center for Transfer Students and other University resources; and consultation for evaluating transfer timing. This course transfers to the UA as elective credit. See a P.C.C. counselor/advisor about enrolling in HDE 105.
