Bachelor of Arts inTheatre Arts

For students attending classes at Yavapai College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 72 units of community college credit may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The University of Arizona On-line Catalog or contact the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information.

An audition is required the semester prior to enrollment in the Theatre Arts Department at The University of Arizona.

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 18 units of theatre arts courses for this major must be completed in residence at The University of Arizona. A maximum of 48 units of theatre arts course work may be applied to this degree.

College algebra is the minimum mathematics requirement. One of the following higher level mathematics courses may be substituted:

SECOND LANGUAGE--16 units
This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the fourth semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The University of Arizona On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Course work available at Yavapai College includes the following:
