Bachelor
of Fine Arts with a major in Studio Art For students attending classes at Coconino Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog or contact the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information. SECOND LANGUAGE -- This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the second semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Course work available at Coconino Community College includes the following:
MAJOR REQUIREMENTS -- Photography, graphic design and illustration majors require portfolio review and acceptance by the Portfolio Committee at The University of Arizona. Contact an art faculty advisor at Coconino Community College for assistance in portfolio preparation and presentation. A minimum of 18 credits of art courses must be completed in residence at The University of Arizona for the major in Studio Art. Art--24 credits
