Bachelor of Science in Engineering

For students attending classes in the Maricopa County Community Colleges and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog or contact the Dean’s Office in the College of Engineering and Mines (621-6032) for additional information. Freshman Composition--6 credits
Humanities and Fine Arts--6 credits
Biological and Physical Sciences--8 credits. Two science required courses from the major.
Mathematics--3 credits. Calculus required.
Social and Behavioral Sciences--9 credits. Economics required plus six credits.
Other Requirement Options--3 credits. Introduction to Engineering.
