Bachelor
of Science in Health Sciences with a major in Health
Education
For students attending classes at the
Maricopa County Community Colleges and preparing to
transfer to The University of Arizona, the following
course work is recommended. Students may obtain a major
in health education with an option in community health or
school health education. Prior to formal admission to the
School of Health Professions, students interested in this
major should register in the University College with a
major in Pre-Health Education. A maximum of 64 credits
of community college course work may be applied to a
bachelors degree program at The University of
Arizona. Refer to The

Formal admission to the School of Health
Professions is required of all undergraduate students. To apply,
applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Education courses taught in the College of Education,
