Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Art Education For students attending classes at Northland Pioneer College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelors degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog or contact the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information. SECOND LANGUAGE -- This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the second semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. MAJOR REQUIREMENTS -- A minimum of 12 credits of art courses must be completed in residence at The University of Arizona for the major in Art Education. Art--30 credits

Students pursuing a major in art education must meet the following special requirements before being admitted to the Teacher Education Program.
