1998-99 UA Pima Community College transfer guide

Bachelor of Science in Renewable Natural Resources

For students attending classes at Pima Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. The School of Renewable Natural Resources offers an undergraduate major in Wildlife, Watershed and Rangeland Resources with options in Fisheries Science, Landscape Analysis and Assessment, Rangeland Science and Management, Watershed Hydrology and Management, and Wildlife Science. The baccalaureate Landscape Architecture degree is being phased out by 1998. No new students will be admitted into the program. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE HDE 105, "TRANSFER STRATEGIES!" This course offers UA campus visits; meetings with UA staff members who represent the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, The Center for Transfer Students and other University resources; and consultation for evaluating transfer timing. This course transfers to the UA as elective credit. See a P.C.C. counselor/advisor about enrolling in HDE 105.
