Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Dance For students attending classes at Yavapai College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Refer to The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog or contact the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information. SECOND LANGUAGE -- This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the second semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The UA Desert Lynx On-line Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Course work available at Yavapai College includes the following:
MAJOR REQUIREMENTS -- A minimum of 42 credits of dance courses must be completed in residence at The University of Arizona for this major. Dance majors must audition for placement in dance technique courses. Dance--3 credits
DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS--9 credits
