Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science

For students attending classes at Central Arizona College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. SECOND LANGUAGE -- This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the second semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The UA General Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Course work available at Central Arizona College includes the following:

  • FRE 101, 102
  • SPA 101, 102

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS -- Eight credits of laboratory science courses are required in addition to the biology courses listed below. Refer to the Physics or Chemistry Sequence in the AGEC-S for a list of options.
