Bachelor of Science in Public Administration For students attending classes at Arizona Western College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied toward a Business and Public Administration college degree program. Refer to The UA General Catalog or contact the Undergraduate Programs Office in the Eller College of Business and Public Administration (621-2505) for additional information. If you will not be completing this transfer guide, see the "Acceptance of Transfer Course Work to meet UA General Education Requirements." Foundation Courses Required for Advanced Standing
*prerequisite is College Algebra or placement Upon transfer to The University of Arizona, students will also need to complete PA 206 and PA 221 (for Public Management and Policy and Health and Human Services majors) or PA 241 (for Criminal Justice majors). These courses must be completed for admission to Advanced Standing. The above-listed courses include some, but not all, of the required AGEC courses. Consult your Arizona Western advisor regarding AGEC completion. Advanced Standing is required for entry to the professional phase of the BSPA degree program. SECOND LANGUAGE -- This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the second semester level.
