For students attending classes at Coconino Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. MAJOR REQUIREMENTS
Students may pursue either a Bachelor of Science degree or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. The AGEC-S is required for the B.S. degree. Either the AGEC-A or the AGEC-S is acceptable for the B.A. degree.

For the B.S. degree in mathematics, students must complete a sequence of calculus-based physics courses or six units of course work outside of math that requires at least first semester calculus as a prerequisite. If a sequence of physics courses is used to satisfy this requirement, those courses will also satisfy the General Education requirement in the Natural Sciences.
