Bachelor of Science in Public Administration For students attending classes at Eastern Arizona College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied toward a Business and Public Administration college degree program. Refer to The UA General Catalog or contact the Undergraduate Programs Office in the Eller College of Business and Public Administration (621-2505) for additional information. If you will not be completing this transfer guide, see the "Acceptance of Transfer Course Work to meet UA General Education Requirements." Foundation Courses Required for Professional Admission
*prerequisite is College Algebra or placement Upon transfer to The University of Arizona, students will also need to complete PA 206 and PA 221 (for Public Management and Policy and Health and Human Services majors) or PA 241 (for Criminal Justice majors). These courses must be completed for Professional Admission. AJS 220 and 225 do transfer to The University of Arizona as Criminal Justice Administration major courses but students are given lower-division credit for them. Therefore, students may need more upper-division units for graduation. The above-listed courses include some, but not all, of the required AGEC courses. Consult your Eastern Arizona advisor regarding AGEC completion. Professional Admission is required for entry to the professional phase of the BSPA degree program.
