Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Theatre Production
Options available in Design/Technical Production or Acting/Directing

For students attending classes at Mohave Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. Refer to The UA General Catalog or contact the College of Fine Arts (621-1301) for additional information.  A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona.   If you will not be completing this transfer guide, see the "Acceptance of Transfer Course Work to meet UA General Education Requirements."

SECOND LANGUAGE -- This requirement may be met by demonstrating proficiency in a single second language at the second semester level. Refer to Examination Policies in The UA General Catalog for additional information on ways in which proficiency may be demonstrated. Course work available at Mohave Community College includes the following:

• ASL 101, 102
• FRE 101, 102
• SPA 101, 102

MAJOR REQUIREMENTS -- Admission into advanced theatre arts courses at The University of Arizona is by interview and audition or portfolio review upon completion of all required lower division theatre arts courses.

THEATRE ARTS DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS -- The following courses may be complete at Mohave Community College for application to this requirement.

• Non-Theatre Arts Electives (Design/Technical Option only) -- Complete six credits of course work; consult an advisor at the UA for assistance in course selection.
